9 (Submission of Papers)
Manuscripts must be submitted through the JAMS system (https://iakle.jams.or.kr/) by the submission deadline. Manuscripts that do not comply with the submission guidelines or violate the regulations will be returned without review. (The journal is published quarterly on March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1.)

10 (Appointment of Reviewers)
1. The Editorial Board
should appoint three reviewers for each paper during an editorial meeting held
after the submission deadline. Reviewers are selected based on their academic
expertise and competence in the relevant field.
2. Reviewers will
be excluded from the review process if they are the submitter or affiliated
with the same institution as the submitter.
3. If an executive
or member of the Editorial Board submits a manuscript, they will be excluded
from reviewing that submission. The fairness, anonymity, and integrity of the
reviewer selection process will be rigorously maintained.

12 (Criteria for Determining the Results)
1. Of the
evaluations of the three judges, the consensus opinion of two or more judges
shall take precedence.
2. If no consensus
is reached by two or more judges, the average score from all three judges will
be considered as follows:
(1)
80
points or higher: Publishable as it is
(2) 70–79 points:
Publishable with revision
(3) 60–69 points: Reconsideration after revision
(4) 60 points or lower: Not publishable
(Revised July 8, 2023)

13 (Publication Decision)
1. After receiving
all of the review reports, the Editorial Board will make a final decision on
whether to publish the reviewed paper by summarizing the judges' evaluations at
the editorial meeting.
2. The final
decision regarding the examined manuscript will fall into one of the following
categories: publishable as it is, publishable with revision, reconsideration
after revision, and not publishable.
3. A single author
may neither publish two consecutive papers nor be the first author of more than
two papers in the same issue.
Article
14 (Notification and Follow-up of Examination Results)
1. The Editorial Board
shall promptly notify contributors of the review results upon completion of the
review.
2. Contributors
whose manuscripts are deemed “publishable with revision” must make the
necessary revisions and resubmit their manuscripts to the Editorial Board
within the specified timeframe.
3. Manuscripts that receive a "revise and resubmit" decision shall be evaluated based on the revised version submitted by the author. If both reviewers recommend "publication in the current issue," the manuscript will be published in that issue.
(1) 80 points or above: Publication in the current issue
(2) 60–79 points: Publication in the next issue
(3) Below 60 points: Rejection
The joint opinion of the two reviewers assigned for re-evaluation shall take precedence. In case of disagreement—including when one reviewer recommends "rejection"—a third reviewer shall be appointed. The final decision shall be determined solely by this third reviewer's evaluation.
4. If the
manuscript cannot be re-reviewed by the editorial deadline, the revised
manuscript must be submitted by the next issue’s submission deadline. Failure
to resubmit for the next issue will be considered an abandonment of the
reconsideration, and the contributor will be notified that the manuscript is “not
publishable.”
Article
15 (Appeal of Examination Results)
1. If a
contributor disagrees with the review results, they may request a
reconsideration from the Editorial Board, providing a clear rationale.
2. The Editorial Board
will review the original evaluation and the contributor's reasons for
requesting reconsideration to determine whether to proceed with the review.
3. The Editorial Board
will appoint three new reviewers to conduct the review, and the contributor
must pay a review fee of KRW 60,000.
4. If the
publication is ultimately approved after review but cannot be included in the
current issue due to editorial scheduling, it will be published in the next
issue.
